SDG 14: Life below water. 

 

SDG Connect: The 14th Sustainable Development goal sets a timeline for achieving certain milestones in the process of the conservation of marine resources. As we know, the number of species going extinct every day is shockingly high. Human activities have only aided in this loss of our biodiversity. The 14th SDG provides a space, within a legal framework, for the creation of new ideas and practices that will positively affect the preservation and growth of marine resources.

SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy.

SDG connect:

 

SDG 7 pertains to clean, affordable, and sustainable energy for all. Therefore, all the rounds are based on these parameters. To add spice to the rounds, we have also connected in various real-world applications of said parameters so that we don’t dwell in the “Well theoretically” arguments. Think of the event as a catalyst that helps you and your team think in ways you might not have before and come up with million-dollar solutions!

SDG 6: Ensure access to water and sanitation for all.

SDG connect:

 

SDG goal 6 aims for clean water and sanitation. Water is essential for our lives and by our small contributions, we can make a huge change. For that, we must act locally and bring a change globally. The motto of the SDGs is ‘Leave no one behind, and so here’s an opportunity for you to spread this awareness.

 SDG:  11. Makes cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.

SDG connect:-SDG 11 encompasses the idea of sustainable cities and communities and enforces the aim to make urban cultures more accessible and resilient. With a goal of fostering a more inclusive environment, this SDG also takes into consideration the environmental conditions. Hence our event correlates to this SDG to encourage neighbourhoods, communities, and countries to take considerable steps for a more prosperous, urbanized yet sustainable future.

SDG 13 - Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

 

SDG Connect - 13. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. It targets to strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards and natural disasters in all countries. Through this event, we will test the awareness of the participants regarding climate-related matters such as climate change and will test their ability to analyze and innovate solutions to combat the same.
